The Geeta Reader App provides the complete text and audio of The Bhagwad Geeta (The Song of God) in original sanskrit. It also contains the equivalent paraphrased English by Sri Aurobindo of all the verses. The app also provides easy navigation and search tools - allows searching in English as well as in Sanskrit. Also allows sending verses by email.

About Bhagwad Geeta:

"The Bhagwad Geeta, literally 'The Song of God', is one of the most important of the spiritual and religious texts of the world, and is to Hindus what the Torah is to Jews, the Bible to Christians, and the Koran to Moslems." - Sri Aurobindo.

"When I read the Bhagavad-Gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous." - Albert Einstein

What's New in Version 1.1

- Continuous playback (default)
- Option to disable continuous playback via Settings.
- Support for sending verse via email.
- Added keyboard help for entering sanskrit text.

Awesome !! Very helpful and informative !

UI have a very good scope of improvement but the basic purpose is very well solved !!
The description and shloks are easy to navigate. And also individual shloks can be mailed !

Concept is amazing!

The way it's been implemented is amazing, but I personally believe the 960x640 wow factor can do wonders in this app. GUI can get better on a 326 PPI screen, just like reading the real Geeta!, Indian Literature is great, and I feel it feels better to read it rather hear it, I really like the use of in-app mail, and the best thing is, it's good to see Ancient Indian Literature on App Store!
I wonder what Shri Krishna would think today when he sees The Great Geeta written in Objective C :D
overall, i expect wonders from this app(even if i have to pay for it) :D
